Though starting preschool marks the new beginning phase in your child's development yet, there are many things that you must ask yourself before sending him to preschool. Ask yourself whether your toddler is really ready for going preschool or does he need some more time? And if it is the right time then, how to prepare him to go to preschool? These three points are the key things that will develop your child skills and also prepare them for preschool or play-school. Talk to Them
You might have heard about that your kids need you and your time. Yes, it is important. You must talk to your child to help them know and recognize things better. Ask them questions something about the surroundings and wait for them to answer. Point out on the things you see and ask them to tell what it is. This will increase their vocabulary and also it will teach them to talk, to listen and wait for their turn to answer.

You need to be very patient when you are talking to a toddler. Let them know about everything that they asking about. They can ask you a hundred times the same question, do not loose your patience and answer them until they get the answer correctly.



Read to Them
Before your child start going to school and see the books and get confused with many big letters and pictures in the books, you should start reading books with them. It is good to give them books just to turn the pages. Read the books with them and share the things you are reading in the books. Show them the pictures in the book and let them know what it is. Read out the stories and ask your kid to repeat the words back after you. This will help them build a habit of reading books.

Let Them Play
With books and talking what you must let your children do is to play. Before you send them to preschool take your children to places where they can play. You should give them lots of opportunities to learn and explore by playing with other children. When they play with materialistic things with someone else they get chance to interact with them, have a conversation with them and watching other children while they are playing. In any type of social setting before you go to preschool, take your children to park, playgrounds, etc.

Well, these things will help your children to understand things nicely and get ready to entering any preschool. But being as a parent you also need to be prepared for sending your kid in a preschool or play-school. So, here are the preparation tips before you choose and send your child to a preschool.

    Visit the Preschool
You need to select the best play-school or preschool for you kid hence, you need to visit the school before you start sending your kid there. Go and check the environment of the school. How the teachers treat the students? What they teach to the children? Do they have everything that every preschools have for letting the children play and learn. Visit at least two and three preschools nearby your home and choose the best one.

    Read Preschool Books
There are several preschool story books available in the market and the library too. Read the book and share the story with your kid. Let them know about the experienced of the characters in the story to let your kid know how good and exciting it is to go to a preschool. And also ask your kid that how he is feeling.

He may be worried for going to a new place meeting with new people hence, you should explain them why it is important to interact with people and how he can feel more comfortable there.
